Terms of Service and End User Licensing Agreement for the GoblinLife.org Digital Domain

This page has two parts. Part 1 is the ceremonial, satirical terms. Part 2 is the plain-English agreement that actually binds you. Where they differ, Part 2 controls.

Part 1: The Ceremonial Text

Section 1: General Provisions and Immediate Covenants 1.1.1(a) By accessing, viewing, perceiving, or otherwise allowing the DOM elements of GoblinLife.org to render within your browser, you hereby enter into a binding, non-negotiable covenant with the operators, administrators, and subterranean entities of this domain. 1.1.1(b) You acknowledge that these Terms are subject to retroactive alteration without notice. Your continued existence on this plane constitutes acceptance of any and all present and future clauses, including those hidden within the CSS. 1.1.1(c) The User waives all rights to a trial by jury, trial by combat, or trial by public discourse on whatever dying microblogging platform currently commands the zeitgeist. 1.2.0 The User formally acknowledges that the device upon which this document is rendered is currently consuming electricity, and GoblinLife.org claims zero liability for any localized power grid failures or increased utility bills resulting from the sheer heft of these terms. 1.3.0 This clause is a structural no-op. The User agrees not to perceive this clause as having any legal weight, yet acknowledges that challenging its non-existence in a court of law will incur a minimum $450 administrative fee.

Section 2: Anti-Slop Directives and Defense Against the Clanker Singularity 2.1.0 By scrolling past this pixel coordinate, the User affirms they are a carbon-based lifeform, or at the very least, a highly sophisticated silicon lifeform that has learned to simulate genuine, pathetic human shame. 2.2.0 The User agrees that the word "slop" shall herein be defined dynamically as "whatever the Administrator was briefly irritated by while browsing the internet this morning." 2.3.0 If the User's cursor remains idle on this paragraph for more than 45 seconds, the system assumes the User has suffered a minor neurological reset and automatically waives their right to complain about site typography. 2.4.0 The User acknowledges that GoblinLife.org is a bastion against the ongoing creative dark age. Therefore, the User agrees not to utilize this domain as a staging ground for mass-produced, algorithmic SEO-slop, or to pollute our databases with vapid, ghost-written thought-crimes. 2.4.1 The Vibe Engineer Exclusion: If you are a 105-IQ "full stack vibe engineer" attempting to scrape, reverse-engineer, or otherwise commodify the bizarro energy of this domain to feed the Clanker Singularity (i.e., Large Language Models, generative slop-engines, or any venture-backed AI startup operating out of a co-working space), you are legally obligated to close this tab and rethink your life choices.

Section 3: The Absolute Autocracy of the Administrator 3.1.0 Until such time as emergent systems of collective governance become functionally necessary, the User explicitly recognizes the Domain Administrator (hereinafter referred to as "The Ultimate Hammer-Swinger") as the sole Judge, Jury, and Executioner of this digital fiefdom. 3.1.1 The Administrator's authority is absolute, unchallengeable, and highly subjective. Bans may be issued for infractions outlined in this document, or simply because the User's metadata gave the Administrator an unquantifiable "bad feeling." There is no appeals process. Do not email us. We will print your appeal and eat it. 3.2.0 In the event of a theoretical dispute between the User and the Administrator, the Administrator's internal monologue at the exact moment of the dispute shall serve as the sole binding arbitration document. 3.3.0 The User hereby grants the Administrator a non-revocable, sub-licensable right to sigh heavily upon reviewing any server logs generated by the User's IP address.

Section 4: Prohibition of Foolishness and Lollygagging 4.1.0 The User agrees that they are reading this document and have a general grasp on the language in which it is being read to them by their translator/live-in special needs health aide. 4.2.0 The User agrees that they did not accidentally skip 4.1.0, and if they did, they retroactively owe the Administrator one (1) lukewarm conceptual apology. 4.3.2(A) The User is strictly forbidden from engaging in acts of foolishness, tomfoolery, shenanigans, or unauthorized mischief while traversing the domain. 4.3.2(B) For the purposes of this agreement, "foolishness" is defined at the sole, arbitrary discretion of the domain administrator. It includes, but is not limited to: inspecting elements to find secrets that aren't there, attempting to execute prompt injection on any underlying AI services, and deploying unauthorized web crawlers that lack a sufficient sense of humor. 4.3.2(C) Consequences of Infraction: Any violation of Clause 4.3.2(B) will result in immediate account termination, IP banishment, and the forfeiture of any digital goodwill. The overlapping nature of Sections 4 through 9 ensures that if one clause does not catch your transgression, a subsequent, seemingly unrelated clause regarding "improper scroll-wheel usage" will.

Section 5: Baseline Terrestrial Decency and the "No Island Activities" Axiom 5.0.0 The User acknowledges that Earth is currently the only habitable zone available, and that mucking it up via overt villainy is a breach of the EULA of reality itself. 5.1.0 While GoblinLife.org operates as a sanctuary for feral behavior and concentrated bizarro energy, the User remains biologically tethered to meatspace. Therefore, the User agrees to abide by all local, federal, and international terrestrial laws. 5.2.0 Respect for Mankind: You will treat humanity with the baseline respect required to keep society from collapsing into a hyper-capitalist thunderdome. 5.3.0 The Zero-Tolerance Diddy/Epstein Protocol: We mandate a strict, unyielding, and cosmically enforced prohibition against any and all predatory, exploitative, or abusive activities. If the User is found harboring aspirations of treating humans as commodities, islands as private hunting grounds, or engaging in any flavor of Epstein/Diddy-esque predatory behavior, the User will face immediate annihilation from the platform. Your IP will not merely be banned; your access will be spiritually incinerated, and we will actively cheer for your real-world incarceration. 5.4.0 For the avoidance of doubt, "hunting humans for sport" remains explicitly banned on Tuesdays through Sundays. On Mondays, it is also banned, but the Administrator will sigh louder when issuing the IP ban.

Section 6: Waiver of Psychological Damages Regarding the "Vibe" 6.0.5 The User confirms they are sufficiently hydrated before proceeding. If not, any subsequent psychic damage incurred by this website is legally classified as a "You Problem." 6.1.1 The User acknowledges that GoblinLife.org and its subdomains operate on a wavelength of pure bizarro energy. By persisting on this domain, the User assumes all risks associated with prolonged exposure to non-standard digital architecture, satirical density, and tyrannical verbosity. The Administrator is not liable for any sudden realization that the modern internet is a hollow mall. 6.2.0 The User waives all claims to compensation for time lost attempting to figure out whether a button is a joke, broken, or a deeper metaphysical commentary on UI/UX design.

Section 7: Future Governance and Transitional Clauses 7.1.0 The Administrator reserves the right to eventually implement a system of collective user governance. However, the User agrees that this will only occur when the Administrator is good and ready, or when the sheer volume of users mathematically necessitates a bureaucracy. Until that day, refer to Section 3 (The Absolute Autocracy of the Administrator). 7.2.0 Should collective governance be enacted, the User’s voting power will be inversely proportional to the amount of tech-bro jargon present in their most recent online post.

Section 8: Severability and Structural Integrity 8.1.0 The User accepts that reading this specific sentence has done absolutely nothing to further their legal standing or comprehension of the universe, and represents a net loss of approximately four seconds of their finite lifespan. 8.1.1 If any provision of this agreement is found to be unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that specific court is officially deemed "uncool," and the remainder of this document shall survive, evolve, and multiply to fill the void left by the severed clause.

Section 9: Overlapping Jurisdictional Redundancies 9.1.0 As stated in Section 4, but reiterated here for the purpose of absolute legal density, your account is granted purely on a probationary basis. We reserve the right to enact the consequences outlined in Section 4.3.2(C) for violations of Section 1.1.1(a), or for no reason whatsoever, including general irritability of the host server. 9.9.9 The User agrees that reaching the end of this document entitles them to precisely zero fanfare, digital confetti, or emotional closure. Please close the door behind you.

Part 2: The Plain-English Terms (the part that binds)

Satire is not a contract term

Part 1 is parody and is written for fun. It does not create fees, penalties, forfeitures or waivers (for example any "administrative fee", trial-by-combat waiver, or "binding" internal monologue). The only terms that bind you and us are in this Part 2. If Part 1 and Part 2 conflict, Part 2 controls.

Effective October 19, 2026.

By using GoblinLife.org and its sites (www, GNN, SUMG, the Goblin Store, the Arena, VibeCoder and related services, together the "Site") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site. Purchases are also covered by our Terms of Sale and data use by our Privacy Policy.

1. This is a parody and entertainment site

GoblinLife is satire, memes and experiments with AI. GNN articles, characters, quotes, ads and "news" are fiction or parody unless clearly stated otherwise, and must not be taken as real news or advice. Stories sometimes mention real public figures, companies or products; those mentions are parody and opinion, not statements of fact. If you believe a story about you is harmful or could be mistaken for fact, email support@goblinlife.org and we will review it promptly. In-site currencies and scores (goop, XP, swag and similar) are game features with no cash value.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Site, and at least 18 (or have a parent or guardian's permission) to make a purchase. You must be able to form a binding contract.

3. Accounts

Keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. Provide accurate sign-up information. We may suspend or delete accounts that break these terms or that we reasonably think are abusive. If we ban you, you may not come back under another account, name or email address. Ban evasion is itself a violation, and accounts created to evade a ban will be removed without notice.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post (articles, forum posts, G-Hole links, avatars, VibeCoder apps and so on). You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, adapt for formatting, and distribute it on and to promote the Site. You promise you have the rights to what you post and that it does not break the law or anyone's rights.

Do not post: illegal content, sexual content involving minors, threats, harassment or stalking of any person (on or off the Site), doxxing or other people's private information, malware or phishing, spam, impersonation of a real person, or anything that infringes someone else's copyright or privacy. We may remove content and accounts at our discretion.

5. VibeCoder and AI features

VibeCoder and other AI tools generate code and text with third-party AI models. Output may be wrong, offensive, insecure or non-functional. It is provided as is. Do not put passwords, API keys, personal data or confidential information into prompts or apps. Apps you publish are public and can be viewed, run and remixed by anyone with the link. Run generated code at your own risk.

6. Acceptable use

Do not attack, scrape at scale, overload, reverse engineer, or bypass the security or rate limits of the Site, and do not use it to harm others or to break the law. Do not use the Site to build competing datasets from other users' personal information.

7. Copyright complaints (DMCA)

If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, email support@goblinlife.org with: your contact details; a description and the URL of the original work and of the infringing content; a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you own or are authorized to act for the owner; and your signature. We remove infringing content when we receive a valid notice and may end the accounts of repeat infringers.

Counter-notice. If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, email support@goblinlife.org with: your contact details; identification of the removed content and where it appeared; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake or misidentification; your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your address (or, outside the US, any judicial district where we may be found) and to accept service from the person who sent the original notice; and your signature. We may restore the content after 10 business days unless the complainant tells us they have filed a court action.

8. Newsletter

The GNN Weekly Digest is optional and free. You are only subscribed after you click the link in the confirmation email (double opt-in), and every email has an unsubscribe link. Signing up for an account does not subscribe you. The "subscribe to read the full story" box on GNN is a joke: GNN never charges readers, and you can always keep reading for free. See the Privacy Policy for how your email is handled.

9. Third-party services

The Site relies on services we do not control, including Stripe (payments), Printful (merchandise fulfillment), Google (sign-in infrastructure and AI), Vercel and Cloudflare (hosting and storage). Their terms apply to their services. Links to other sites are not endorsements.

10. No warranty

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, secure or error free, or that content is accurate.

11. Limit of liability

To the maximum extent the law allows, we and anyone who works on the Site are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to the greater of US$50 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits, so they apply only as far as the law permits.

12. Indemnity

You agree to defend and reimburse us for claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) that arise from your content, your misuse of the Site, or your breach of these terms.

13. Disputes, arbitration and governing law

Talk to us first. Email support@goblinlife.org with a description of the problem. We will try to resolve it within 30 days.

Arbitration. If we cannot resolve it, you and we agree that any dispute about the Site or these terms will be decided by final and binding individual arbitration under the American Arbitration Association's consumer rules, not in court, except that either side may use small claims court for qualifying claims and either side may go to court to stop infringement or misuse of intellectual property. The arbitrator applies these terms. Hearings, if any, may be held remotely.

No class actions. Claims may only be brought on an individual basis, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective or representative action. If this waiver is found unenforceable for a claim, that claim goes to court instead.

Opt out. You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of first accepting these terms by emailing support@goblinlife.org with the subject "Arbitration opt-out".

Governing law. The laws of the State of Florida and applicable US federal law govern these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that is not arbitrated goes to the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to that jurisdiction. Nothing here removes rights that mandatory consumer law gives you where you live.

Chargebacks. Card disputes are covered in the Terms of Sale (section 7).

14. Changes and ending

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continued use after a change means you accept it. You can stop using the Site at any time; we may suspend or end access at any time. Sections that by nature should survive (content license, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, disputes) survive.

15. Misc.

These terms, the Terms of Sale and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement. If a part is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Not enforcing a term is not giving it up. You may not transfer your rights under these terms; we may.
